How to choose the perfect bicycle for yourself?
We have a wide array of bicycles in many different colors, sizes, electric bicycles, and more. So, how do you know which one is the right one for you?
Size
The size of the bicycle is crucial and we recommend people taller than 165cm to go for a 28” bike and people smaller than 165 cm, to choose a bicycle with a 26” wheel.
Our Junior Adam is 24” and is suitable for teenagers but also for shorter people with a height of around 150 cm.
Type of bicycle
The Adam Store makes city bikes, also known as typical dutch style bicycles. Their purpose is usually to cycle for leisure, trips to the supermarket, picking up your kids, going for a cycle around the neighborhood and more. They are not typically used for the mountains or any kind of professional sportive activity.
We do have electric bicycles available to make cycling even better for you. If you are interested in taking your kids with you, you should have a look at our cargo bikes, also called the “bakfiets” in the Netherlands. The cargo bike can also be purchased electrically.
Color
We sell our bicycles in five different colors but depending on the model or the size this may vary. We have a beautiful classic beige bicycle with light colored tires. We also sell bicycles in blue, green, coral and ochre. There’s a whole variety to choose from. All of our bicycles have a beautiful matte finish to them, and you can even get matching helmets!
Accessories
Adam Bike sells many different accessories for you to personalise your bicycle.
If you want to be able to carry around groceries or other objects, our baskets are a good option. If you’d like to bring along your kids, you could have a look at our child seat collection. You may also like to purchase our thermos water bottles to bring cold and fresh water along on your cycle.
